The photographer employed a long exposure, shooting from a tripod, to capture the water's movement as it rolled in from the sea. The cloud at the top is actually the last remnants of a wave moving into the upper part of the frame as the long exposure records it's motion. The print is made in the artist's studio with pigmented inks on museum quality,
