These packs came from an order placed by the Irish Free State with the British manufacturer, Mills Equipment Company, in 1922 (they were then produced in 1923). These vintage 08 Pattern backpacks are all one of a kind! Each one is unique and may have soldiers names or numbers written or painted on. As you can see in
