Bargello IV A102009 Standing 70" tallInspired by traditional Bargello quilting techniques, this mixed media collage was created using a variety of decorative, vintage screen printed paper and vintage newspaper, as well as sheet music. Carol Lehmann cut, tore, and sewed the elements together before assembling and mounting; the finished collage is sealed and protected with a acrylic gel and displays incised detailing to accentuate specific shapes within the paper.
