Claro Walnut has much more dramatic color and figure than the Walnut familiar from furniture making and other forms of woodworking. The enclosed, or upper section of the turning is marked by distinctive beading, giving the larger form a fine sense of proportion. This beading also works to highlight the drama of color and figure.
