the silk liner was removed but still a thin cotton tan liner remains

Looks like there is just one missing rhinestone near the bottom but not noticeable unless really looking for it

This gown was custom made in 1953 by Dorothea Gaines, Inc. a local seamstress to the elite brides of Lexington, KY. This wedding gown has all the bells and whistles. The skirt is a heavy white satin with a lovely, large train. The bodice is the same satin with heavily boned infrastructure and a stiff net structure over the hip to hold the peplum away from the body. The bodice is then overlaid
