Each stoneware boat is individually hand built from slabs and has two hearts pinched from clay suspended by wire. The weathered surface is achieved by applying glaze, slip and terra sigillata made by the artist, then wiping the highlights of the texture to leave behind glaze that has a flashing quality. Each piece is unique and will
