Bright Yellow Squat Horsehair Raku Pottery A174163 Part of recently acquired collectionWheel thrown stoneware pottery. Covered in several layers of yellow Terra Sigillata and hand polished. Clear crackle glazed interior and lip. Raku fired with horsehair and iron. The soft sheen comes from the Terra Sigillata. This Raku piece is for decorative use only. The clay remains porous and is not suitable for holding water. Not watertight Glossy finish and unglazed finish Ceramic: fired at cone 06 Signed by the artist Materials: Ceramic
