United Kingdom. A Silver Tea Set, By William Hunter, C.1855 Auction Conferred on heads of state(Silver). Antique. A teapot constructed of silver. The base of the teapot features an alternating flower and leaf pattern on a pebbled background. The belly of the pot bears a motif of leaves, flowers and simple acanthus designs. The center of either side of the belly bears a circular field, one of which is blank, the other bears the image of a lion rampant with a scrolling banner under it with the inscription AMICUS OMNIBUS (Friend to All).
