Constructed of a silvered aluminum alloy, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with two threaded screw posts for shako attachment, maker marked with the logo of Christian Theodor Dicke, Ldenscheid, measuring 160 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish, in extremely fine condition.
