Lloyd Brothers Sparkling Blanc de Blancs umbria with calcareous and clayey soilsThis wine is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon with a 2% touch of Malbec. Picked in the early hours these grapes retain a fresh acidity and are soaked cold soaked for 48 hours before a fermentation in open top steel tanks. The wine is then pressed to French oak barriques for 15 months. Still juvenile, this wine has fantastic notes of juicy plums, blackberries and mulberries with an evocative savoury edge of earthy mushrooms, truffle and spice. The tannins while
