This side cap is fabricated from black wool
however in 1867 the Order was extended to four classes
Hilt is completed by an original silver bullion portepee in the correct tie

Constructed of field grey rayon, the obverse bearing a BeVo style, machine embroidered grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 120 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition.
