A Merit Cross, III Class with Crown, in silver, a red enamelled cross featuring a large central medallion bearing the initials FJ, the reverse bearing the date 1849, cross surmounted by a crown with interior red enamelled cap, measures 36 mm (w) x 58. 3 mm (h inclusive of cross adorned ball suspension), marked on the ring with A denoting Vienna manufacture and WK and KUNZ WIEN denoting manufacturer by Wilhelm Kunz, worn on
