Te Kokorangi is looking for four new warriors to teach him the stories of Matariki and the calendar. Three boys are chosen, and one girl, an orphan, named Aria. Aria insists on going with her dog, who is not hers. Aria seems bored with the lessons, and does not want to be instructed. But the people are in danger. They may soon be in serious trouble with
