Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a bow tie style ribbon, around central crossed swords over a hollow background, the reverse with all four attachment prongs intact and secured to a period original length of ribbon, unmarked, the clasp measuring 25. 26 mm (w) x 25. 32 mm (h), accompanied by its period original presentation case,
