label affixed to the bottom inscribed "1785" matching the number on the reverse of the award

suspended from a swivel crown suspension - marked “900” for silver content

An Air Force Observer Badge, C. 1940 Newly Listed A Crimea MedalA lovely badge in silvered tombac, two arching wings with the central crowned cypher of Carol II, the reverse presents two downward facing clips on each wing and one upward facing clip at 6 oclock, measures 35. 5mm (w) x 46. 3mm (h), weighs 13. 2 grams, very nice patina and detailing in extremely fine condition.
