Russia, Imperial. An Order Of St. George In Gold, Iii Class, C.1815 certificate_of_authenticity 9th August 1902( . ). Instituted 26 November 1769 by Catherine II. A beautiful Austrian made Order of Saint George, constructed of Gold with white enamelled arms, obverse medallion bearing a delicately hand painted scene of St. George riding a white horse, spearing a green dragon on a light pink background, reverse medallion bearing a hand painted Cyrillic monogram of for (SAINT GEORGE), double construction pins visible on the medallion edges between each arm
