He took the Sergeant's Promotion Exams A and B on March 27
A Scarce Bavarian Commemorative Pilot's Badge By C. Pöllath Schrobenhausen Auction along with his Memorial CrossBadge in solid silver, hollow center, 45. 0mm x 73. 3mm, weighs 28. 8 grams, pin marked C. Pllath Schrobenh. Silber; badge was initially made as pilot's badge, then it was "converted" into "Commemorative " by means of cutting center field out (file marks clearly evident) and inserting the eagle. Most likely done in Pllath factory. For similar "inserted eagle" badge see C. Baldes book, pages 116 117. A very scarce badge.
