A Mint Waffen-Ss Gebirgstruppen Sleeve Edelweiss Patch Auction all are marked RZM SSConstructed of silvery grey embroidered flower petals and dual leaves, and stem; with seven yellow stamen; all within a silvery grey embroidered circle; measuring 76 mm x 59 mm; mint and unworn condition. (C: 162) Footnote: Worn by the members of the Waffen SS Gebirgstruppen (Mountain Troops) on the right sleeve of both the tunic and the great coat. Edelweiss flowers traditionally represent bravery and courage in German Austrian culture.
