Germany, Third Reich. A Fire-Fighting Service Badge, C.1934 Auction HISSON R-85928)(Erinnerungszeichen Verdienste um das Feuerlschwesen). An oval silver badge, the obverse presenting a firefighter with helmet blowing a fire horn he holds in his right hand while holding a hose in his left, below is a burning house, with smoke and flames coming through the roof, circumscribed by the inscription FR VERDIENSTE UM DAS FEUERLSCHWESEN (FOR MERIT TO THE FIRE FIGHTING), the reverse presents a vertical pinback, maker marked PREUSS.
