Vintage Seaweed "Spanaway" Hollywood Records Promotional Poster Punk & Hardcore As the TwinsAlt rock group Seaweed released their fifth album Spanaway in 1995. After a successful run on Sub Pop, the Tacoma, WA quintet signed to major label Hollywood Records for one album. The 13 songs on the record were mid tempo and moody with a melancholy melody. It was what the band was known for but with a major label budget behind it. And for that, they scored their first entry into the Billboard chart. The band would release one more album on Merge
