Germany, Imperial. An Air Gunner Badge, c. 1935 Archive General Hull was court martialled(Fliegerschtzenabzeichen). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, surrounding a central German national eagle in mid flight, clutching a bullseye target overlaid a cut out background, the reverse hollow and with a narrow barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 45. 52 mm (w) x 74. 10 mm
