Germany, SA. A Rare SA-Leibstandarte Downhill Skiing Champion’s Plaque, with Case Auction Archive being placed in the Field(SA Leibstandarte Plakette mit Etui). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of a circular medallion bearing a central SA Leibstandarte insignia in the form of a cursive L defaced by an edelweiss and mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of SA LEIBSTANDARTE ERSTER IM ABFAHRTSLAUF A. KL. 1939 for first place in a downhill skiing competition, all in turn overlaying a pair of skis, unmarked, measuring 82 mm (w) x 110 mm (h),
