A gilt silver Maltese cross paty with green and red enamel wreath between the arms, obverse centre bears a shield with three arrows pointing outwards from the corners, encompassed by blue enamel and gilt inscription FUR KUNST UND WISSENSCHAFT (FOR ART AND SCIENCE), the reverse bears a crowned cipher G for Georg, Prince of Schaumberg Lippe, on a crown suspension with a red ribbon with
