Germany, Third Reich. A Fire Brigade Dress Axe visually-hidden 52 mm (w) x 74(Feuerwehr Axt). A well preserved Fire Brigade ceremonial dress axe, measuring 47 cm in total length inclusive of all fixtures. It features a lacquered and blackened wooden handle topped by a nickel plated magnetic steel head with a blade and pick. Dual magnetic metal rings emanate from the heel and shoulder, while the handle also features double sided, nickel plated, magnetic metal plaques featuring voids allowing for the optional addition of
