Saxony, Kingdom. An Honour Cross For Voluntary War Assistance Auction Archive stating that he was single(Ehrenkreuz fr freiwillige Wohlfahrtspflege im Kriege). Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central raised monogram of King Albert of Saxony, within a blue enameled ring, the reverse with central raised dates 1914 1915, with a laurel and oak leaf wreath through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring 27. 81 mm (w) x 32. 75 mm
