The charring isnt decorative. It hardens the surface, reveals the natural grain, and creates a deep carbon layer that helps repel water, resist bacteria, and minimise staining. Over time, KURO develops even more character through use. At 45 x 30 x 2. 5cm, KURO is our largest and heaviest board to date.
