Legat, Serge - Karsavina, Tamara - Unsigned Cabinet Photo in "The Naiad and The Fisherman" [POLITICS] Paul Paray conducts the IsraelRussian dancers Serge Legat (1875 1905) and Tamara Karsavina (1885 1978) are shown in this wonderful cabinet style photograph from early 20th Century, in Cesare Pugnis ballet "The Naiad and the Fisherman". Original photographs of Legat, who was famous and committed suicide at age 30, are scarce. An original, hand colored photo by the Imperial Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia, 5 x 7. 25 inches, mounting traces on verso, in very good condition. See
