In Silver gilt, a maltese cross in white enamel, Habsburg eagles in each quadrant, topped by Imperial crown, inclusive of trophy of arms suspension, measures 13. 4 mm (h) x 6. 2 mm (w), on original black neck ribbon, near mint condition. Footnote: The Order of the Knights of Malta was originally founded by Godfrey of Bouillon in 1099. The Order grades were conferred for civil or war related services. When the grades were awarded to
