The Shiraz is from 22-year-old vines on a lower site in Orange (680 metres) and the Pinot Noir is from Springvale (as per Byrne’s 100% Pinot Noir)
The white is fermented in large ceramic tank and concrete eggs – It’s a natural fermentation of innoculated local yeast
La Villa Pinot Noir 2024 fiore supported by fine but assertiveRich red fruits on the nose with sweet spice and light, toasty oak. Plums, strawberries, cherries on the palate, which balances out the crisp acidity and vanilla oak. The tannins are well structured and there are hints of savoury notes starting to show. This wine will reward you with careful cellaring over the next 5 7 years. Enjoy with a rack of lamb, steak or venison. A very generous Pinot.
