Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Mint S-Boat War Badge, Second Pattern, by Rudolf Souval, c. 1943 Republic of two vent holes(Schnellboot Kriegsabzeichen). Instituted May 30th, 1941. Constructed of gilded and patinated zinc, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath joined together at the base by a ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a central depiction of an E Boat cutting through waves, with its bow extending beyond the left edge of the wreath and with waves of displaced water extending beyond the right edge of
