Larimar 8x10-10x12mm Rough Nugget A Grade- 15-16 Inch Tumble Essentially a volcanic glassLarimar is a translucent blue, turquoise and white stone that can have streaks and patterns of white, as well as red or brown either from oxidation or Hematite inclusions. It is a rare variety of Pectolite, found only in the Dominican Republic. Copper within the Pectolite creates the beautiful blue and turquoise colors in the stone. The blue colors are photosensitive and may fade when exposed to excessive light or heat.
