Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Destroyer War Badge, By Schwerin Hold Born on July 13(Zerstrerkriegsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central depiction of a destroyer cutting through waves, with its bow extending beyond the left edge of the wreath, the reverse topped by a stabilizer, with a block hinge and banjo style horizontal pinback meeting a flat
