Germany, Nskk. A 1939 5Th Bavaria To Austria Race Commemorative Plaque By Carl Poellath United Republic of Canadian Field Artillery on November(NSKK Bayr. Ostmark Gelnderfaht Erinnerungsplakette). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a NSKK style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by a date of 1939, circumscribed by an inscription of 5. BAYR. OSTMARK GELNDEFAHRT, topped by initials N. S. K. K., the reverse maker marked CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN, measuring 98 mm (w) x 64 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
