Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A Bravery Medal, Bronze Grade, C.1915 Archive one loop on left side(Taperkeitsmedaille in Bronze). Instituted 20 February 1915 by Duke Ernst II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte bearing a central Saxe Altenburg coat of arms, flanked by a date of 1914, topped by a royal crown, the reverse with a monogram of Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 00 mm in diameter, weighing 13. 1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in
