Germany, Wehrmacht. A German Cross In Gold, By Deschler & Sohn United Republic of packet better than extremely fine(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold). Constructed of tombak with gilt and enamels, the obverse consisting of a double overlaid eight pointed starburst executed with a silvered and patinated finish, surrounding a central silvered disc overlaid by a black enameled mobile swastika, situated within a circular gilded laurel leaf wreath, wrapped in ribbon and joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a date of 1914, with both the inner and outer edges of the
