In silvered bronze, hallmarked and marked "BRONZE" on the edge, measuring 29. 5 mm in diameter, very light contact, original ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Expedition to Mexico Commemorative Medal was instituted on August 29, 1863 and awarded for service in the Mexican Expedition of 1862 1863.
