Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse with a central Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on a pebbled field, on top of crossed swords, within an oval laurel wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with code L 11 for Wilhelm Deumer, Ldenscheid, measuring 36. 31 mm (w) x 44. 13 mm (h), weighing 19. 8 grams, accompanied by its period
