Vintage Hormel "Spam" T-Shirt Joint Tuesday debuting in 1979Spam, the canned pork ham food brand from Minnesota, was founded in 1937 by Hormel Foods. The food became widely distributed in WWII as it was an ideal food for the military it provided meat that didn't have to be fresh.
