In its cardboard box of issue, marked in black ink "KRIEGS VERDIENSTKREUZ 1. KLASSE" on the front panel and maker marked "Steinhauer & Lck Ldenscheid" on the side panel, side flap has separated from the body of the box but remains with it, lightly soiled, box fine.
