Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a Sturmabteilung (SA) logo, circumscribed by an inscription of JAGDGESCHWADER HORST WESSEL, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of TREUE UM TREUE (LOYALTY BEGETS LOYALTY), maker marked DESCHLER, MNCHEN, measuring 80 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor surface tarnishing, in extremely fine condition.
