Germany, Third Reich. A National Flag consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac the interior of the lid(Fahne). Constructed of a red cotton rayon blended cloth base, bearing double sided central white discs measuring 56 cm in diameter, each bearing dyed black mobile swastikas, the hoist edge featuring a hollow channel for suspension, unmarked, measuring 75 cm (w) x 114 cm (l), demonstrating soiling throughout the base material, in better than very fine condition.
