An elongated iron cross paty constructed of bronze, the central medallion obverse bears the left facing portrait of Friedrich August III of Saxony, circumscribed with FRIEDRICH AUGUST KONIG V. SACHSEN, the 12 oclock arm bears a royal crown, the 6 oclock arm bears the date 1915, the reverse centre bears a crowned A cipher, the 9 and 3 oclock arms read WELT KRIEG, a wreath lays in the quadrants between
