Germany, Federal Republic. A Knight’s Cross of the War Merit Cross, 1957 Version Auction Maryland World War Service Medal(Ritterkreuz des Kriegsverdienstkreuzes 1957 Ausfhrung). Constructed of silvered bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed date of 1939, the twelve oclock arm topped by an eyelet and ring retaining an original length of shortened neck ribbon, unmarked, measuring 52 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
