Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Cross Patte with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece and bearing a central cornflower, the reverse demonstrating white threading, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 55 mm (l), demonstrating minor soiling and fatigue throughout, with some soften of the buckram
