Constructed of gilded and silver feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with dual visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, maker marked with the logo of F.
