reverse centre presenting the silver gilt cypher of Carol I with blue enamel surround with coronation date May 10th 1866 and institution year of 1906
encompassed by the inscription “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA REX ET IND IMP”

A Nicholas Cavalry School Badge, C.1915 Auction Archive the collar measuring approximately 700In silver gilt, a crowned doubled headed eagle with downward pointing wings, clutching a wreath and staff, in the center of the eagle sits a miniature star of the Order of St. Andrew, the reverse features a central screwpost with plate and screwback with dual rings, measures 42. 35mm (w) x 38. 37mm (h), weighs 22. 1 grams, hand etching, light wear, in extremely fine condition.
