Germany, Luftwaffe. A Reconnaissance Clasp visually-hidden He returned from British captivity(Frontflugspange fr Aufklrer). Instituted January 30th, 1941. (c. 1942 43 issue). Constructed of tombac, consisting of a laurel wreath with a static swastika at the base and a leftward facing eagle with a large eye superimposed on the clasp, with nine oak leaves horizontally positioned on either side of the center motif, the reverse with a barrel hinge, tapered horizontal pinback and round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75. 8 mm (w) x 25. 4 mm (l),
