Type I (1881 1941). In silver gilt with red and white enamels, Romanian crown on the obverse centrepiece, maker marked and medal content marked "JRF ARG." (Joseph Resch Fils, Bucharest; Argint = Silver) on the reverse of the loop, measuring 61. 5 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), intact enamels, on an original shortened civil division neck ribbon, extremely fine.
