Germany, Rad. A Wartime Studio Portrait Of A Sudetenland Rad Member Archive ” in gilt letteringMeasuring 61x84mm, near extremely fine condition with light scuffing, and light scratching in one place. It shows a RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst = National Labour Service) member of Abteilung 375, situated in the Sudetenland. Based on this information and on the way he wears the cap, canted over the right ear, the photo can be dated to no earlier than late 1938. Before 1938 the cap was to be worn squared on the head.
