While many other original hardcore bands changed their sound or broke up, Gauze has remained the true to their original sound, never faltering from playing the most insane, aggressive, brutal songs with strong and thoughtful messages. It's the complete hardcore package, always has been and hopefully always will be. In 1997, the band released their fourth LP,
